1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CISI Academy (cisi.academy), including purchasing any course or study material, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Services

CISI Academy provides digital study materials, exam simulators, and course content for professional financial certification exams, including but not limited to CISI, CFA, and ACCA qualifications. All content is delivered electronically and accessible via your account upon purchase.

CISI Academy is a distinct CISI-focused education brand operating through cisi.academy and support@cisi.academy. It is not another name for the Exams Academy website. The two brands may use shared website technology, but their public websites, customer communications, and brand identities are separate.

3. No Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the digital nature of our products, once access to a course or study material has been granted, no refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued except where applicable law requires otherwise. This includes but is not limited to:

• Change of mind after purchase
• Failure to complete the course
• Failure to pass the associated exam
• Duplicate or accidental purchases
• Incompatibility with your device or internet connection

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this refund policy, subject to your mandatory legal rights.

For immediate digital supply, checkout asks you separately to agree to these terms and to expressly request supply before any applicable 14-day cancellation period ends. You acknowledge that the applicable right to cancel for a change of mind is lost once digital supply begins. This does not remove mandatory rights where content is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.

4. Account & Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Access to purchased courses is granted to you personally and may not be shared, transferred, or resold. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on CISI Academy - including text, graphics, study materials, quizzes, code, and design - is the exclusive property of CISI Academy or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without express written permission.

6. Course Content & Copyright Compliance

CISI Academy is a CISI Accredited Training Partner (ATP). ATP status applies to the training provider; it does not mean that every individual mock question, flashcard, summary, AI response, or website feature has been separately reviewed or approved by CISI. Our study materials are developed with reference to the applicable CISI syllabus and official workbooks.

CISI Academy is a training provider and is not the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment itself. Candidates should use the official CISI website for exam registration, qualification rules, and the definitive current syllabus.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our materials will ensure you pass any exam. CISI Academy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CISI Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or exam fees.

9. Content Updates

We regularly update our course materials to reflect changes in exam syllabuses and regulations. However, we do not guarantee that updates will be made immediately upon syllabus changes. Access to updates is included for the duration of your course access period.

10. Privacy

We collect and process personal data (such as your email address) solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

11. Modifications

Changes to these terms apply only to new purchases that accept the updated version at checkout after its publication. The terms accepted when an earlier purchase was made continue to govern that purchase, subject to applicable law. We retain a dated copy of each checkout terms version.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. Subject to mandatory rules on applicable law and jurisdiction, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections that apply to a customer in their country of residence.
